EMC-3639 brings a rainscreen drainage plane to our WEEP System, as part of a technologically advanced design for creating division between the masonry and structural back-up walls. These 0.024″ (0.6 mm) thick high impact polystyrene sheets are formed with corrugations and a spunbond polypropylene fabric on one side with a 4″ (102 mm) skirt on one edge. Adhered fabric blocks mortar or stucco from filling the drainage channels and acts as a bug screen at terminations, with the majority of the high impact polystyrene ensuring durability, rigidity, and longevity.
