Chilton Cambrian Blend

This beautiful home stone facade’s mix of exterior stone veneer, siding, brick, and metal creates a timeless yet modern style and architectural appeal. The full veneer stone or thin stone cladding featured is Chilton Cambrian Blend, and it fulfills the vision for this luxury dream house design. Natural stone veneer in combination with metal roof accents, neutral tan siding, and red brick pillars and window sills and surrounds are consistent with the elegant architecture and interior design style of this ranch house plan with a gorgeous walkout basement and back yard deck contributing to an outdoor living experience. The natural stone masonry installation is a combination of ashlar pieces in a traditional two-to-one pattern with mortar grout rather than dry stacked stone.

Modern luxury dream home in ranch style with walkout basement and backyard deck | exterior veneer stone facade architecture & design using full or thin stone

Chilton Cambrian Blend full width natural stone veneer or thin stone cladding (spec sheet) brings beautiful sky and earth stone color tones to our Ashlar Line of real stone products. Ashlar describes the finest masonry units of dressed and cut stones that are worked until squared, with pieces ranging in heights from 1/2″ to 8″ and lengths from 6″ up to 42″ for full veneer and 6″ up to 24″ for thin veneer stone. Its natural color range is 75% sky tones of Chilton Country Squire and 25% earth and fiery hues of Chilton Rustic stone veneer, which creates a beautiful mix of grays to charcoals (with occasional mauves), browns, buffs, oranges, yellows, reds, and rusts for Buechel Stone’s Chilton Cambrian Blend. Capable of thin joints between stones, the linear appearance of an ashlar pattern stone installation results in the most traditional natural stone masonry application.

The sophisticated blend of natural stone material detailed above creates a contemporary essence of prairie style ranch home architectural elegance complementary to a steeply pitched hip roof, metal roof accent, red brick pillars and window surrounds, and neutral tan siding. The neutral siding and timeless masonry design are in keeping with the subtleties of timeless modern rustic architecture and design.
