The exterior stone veneer of this beautiful stucco and stone facade features French Country / French Provincial style in a showcase of a custom mix of Buechel’s Ashlar and Mosaic Fieldstone veneers using Fond du Lac stone material. This particular custom blend combines Fond du Lac Country Squire and Fond du Lac Webwall. The effect of combining Fond du Lac exterior / interior natural full and thin veneer stone products is a sophisticated real stone color range of arctic hues, including grays, light grays, buffs, and whites.
Coming from our Ashlar line, Fond du Lac Country Squire’s stone pattern is described as the finest of masonry units of dressed and cut stones that are worked until squared. Capable of thin joints between stones, the linear appearance of an ashlar pattern stone installation results in the most traditional natural stone masonry application. Pieces range in heights from 1/2″ to 8″, with lengths from 6″ up to 42″ for full veneer and 6″ up to 24″ for thin veneer stone. Whereas Fond du Lac Webwall’s artistic assemblage of irregular and random shapes consists of pieces ranging in diameters from 3″ to 16″ for full veneer and 3” to 12” for thin veneer stone. This particular custom blend consists of 70% Country Squire and 30% Webwall. The tight mortar joint almost gives a dry stacked stone appearance complementary to light stucco and dark brown shutters, all in keeping with French Provincial architectural design.
