Indoor / outdoor stone fireplace and outdoor patio area completes the backyard look after a stunning first impression of this rustic Mill Creek Colonial Blend veneer stone home. The sprawling stone house features warm honey stone colors of Mill Creek stone cladding for its exterior stone facade and for the outdoor fireplace stone. The original plans showed an all-stucco exterior. But when the customer saw a sample of our Mill Creek Colonial Blend, it was love at first sight. They switched the entire home from stucco to Buechel Stone, even though it meant they needed to redo all of the roof trusses so that the soffit overhang would work with a natural stone veneer exterior. The expert craftsmen in Buechel Stone’s Saw Shop even fabricated custom Mill Creek Cut Stone sills to ensure that every last architectural stone cut detail was addressed. Mill Creek Cut Stone was also used for the outdoor fireplace’s stone mantel and hearth.

The historic appearance of randomly layered stone is created with heights from 2” to 8” and lengths from 4” to 16” for both full and thin stone veneer.
