Product Description
EMC-3639XL brings a rainscreen drainage plane to our WEEP System, as part of a technologically advanced design for creating division between the masonry and structural back-up walls. These 0.024″ (0.6 mm) thick high impact polystyrene sheets are formed with corrugations and a spunbond polypropylene fabric on one side with a 4″ (102 mm) skirt on one edge. Adhered fabric blocks mortar or stucco from filling the drainage channels and acts as a bug screen at terminations, with the majority of the high impact polystyrene ensuring durability, rigidity, and longevity.

Stucco, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), brick veneer, manufactured stone veneer, and cheap thin stone or faux stone siding often get bad reputations when it comes to installation defects in masonry construction because of improper moisture management.
